Google Aquires Jotspot

JotSpot is one of the better productized Wikis out there, offering a pretty nice little Web 2.0-style experience.  Google aquired Writely not too long ago.  With Google Calendar, Spreadsheets, and now this, which will, no doubt, will be called (shocker)... 'Wiki', it seems Google is yet another step closer to a comprehensive, capable, and highly interactive browser based front office offering.

My new employer, Near Infinity, is a small, fast growing company that, in some form or another, has increasingly been leveraging Google's features without adding to our costs.  No doubt, JotSpot's Wiki will figure more prominently as a personal Wiki option.  I suppose we're more apt to consider it for the corporate option as well although it should be said here that Atlassian's Confluence is our current choice, which has served us very nicely so far.

Of note is that JotSpot's Affiliate Program seems to have been terminated.  You now get this when you try to login to it:
